I really, REALLY love the actual palette and the image on the front. It's sturdy and small enough to be very travel friendly. The included shadow is the same high quality I've come to expect from Urban Decay - smooth texture, decent color payoff. Unfortunately, the color isn't flattering on me but I'm keeping it because I love the palette design.
My only criticism of this product is that in order to get any of the palettes we're forced to buy a pre-chosen color with it, which is an even bigger inconvenience if you're not crazy about the color.
I'd be willing to pay more for a palette with a good quality travel brush and the option to choose your own shadow. (In fact, I'd be stocking up on these palettes if I could choose my own instead of getting multiple pans of the same shadows!)
Bottom line: the palette itself is lovely, and if you actually like the color, it's an even better deal.
Urban Decay, I hope you'll eventually add a "choose-your-own-shadow" option, in addition to the current "exclusive color" palettes! :)
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought "Naked" thinking it was the "natural" color in this line-up - it's been described on various websites as a "nude pink sheen". I was picturing something like Wallflower Lip Junkie (described here as "nude creamy pink") but with a little shimmer, and in a more traditional "lipstick" texture.
When I received it, Naked was an opaque, heavily pearlized, medium-to-deep toned mauve. Nothing "naked" about it. I like that it comes in a pencil, I liked the way it felt on my lips, and it had decent staying power, but please Urban Decay, how 'bout a few pale-to-light, neutral, *natural* shades?
Pros nice texure, decent longevity
Cons very limited color selection

Booty call single shadow???

Does anyone know if they may make a Booty call (from Naked 2 palette) a single shadow? Its my fave!

Thanks!
If you're looking for Booty Call, give Virgin a try. Booty Call is a touch warmer, but on me they're almost identical.

Anything remotely Like Sellout?

I loved the warm neutral look I got from sellout! Even though I know it wasn't terribly popular I have been waiting for something to be released that is close in either the pencils or a new lipstick line. With all these options I hope ones similar.
Just wanted to cast another vote for Sellout - that was my all-time favorite shade and I can't seem to find anything quite like it! I'll probably try Protest in the meantime, but I hope someone in development will consider resurrecting Sellout in this formula!
